The Chinese TV station Hainan Satellite TV has a TV show in its program in which the ambassadors of different countries of the world who are currently living and working in China are guests. The topic of the show is the preparation of the national specialty of the visiting ambassador, as well as introducing the ambassador to the beauty and culture of China, that is, Hainan. During the second season of the series, the guest ambassador was Mr. Dario Mihelin, Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia in China, and his guest on the show was Mr. Josip Glušac.
At the beginning of the show, the friendship between Croatia and Hainan was highlighted, which has a history since 2013, and that the cities of Sanya and Dubrovnik are sister cities. In the first part of the show, the presenter introduces the ambassador to the beauty of Hainan. From the city of Sanya, we go to the Baoting region, where the tribes with a unique culture, Li and Miao, are located. Members of the Li tribe do not have their own written language, but they are very skilled and imaginative in rattan handicrafts and weaving fabrics in different colors that represent the cultural information of each dialect area of the Li people. Mr. Michelin first visited children from a local school and played a soccer match with them, and then attended a traditional bamboo skipping dance. The Hainanese osmotic instrumental music that the players blow and carry is the best on the island. The musicians beautified the visit in the most beautiful way with their music. After that, Mr. Michelin visited the area of Baoting National Park, a protected area of Hainan whose forest cover is 80%. The end of the day was marked by the kitchen, that is, the skill of the visiting ambassador in preparing a national specialty. For this occasion Mr. Michelin prepared Buzara. Since we are in the maritime region, he decided on this traditional Croatian seafood dish. Next to the guest, the local chef also prepares his national dish, which on this occasion was rolled duck.

The end of the day was marked by the dinner itself, which was attended by famous people from the island as well as the guests of Ambassador Michelin. From the Chinese side, the evening was attended among others by: Mu Kerui, party secretary of Baoting Li and Miao Autonomous County who introduced the ambassador to the functioning of the Baoting region, health care and other features of this area. The two sides discussed the resources of Baoting and Croatia, emphasizing the desire for the twinning of the cities of Croatia and Baoting. Vice President of Hainan Airlines, who spoke about the importance of connecting Hainan and Croatia by air. Li Zhongguang, deputy director of the Department of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports of Hainan Province emphasized the importance of this family feast. "Through this event, we contributed to a very international platform for cooperation" On the Croatian side, the evening was attended by the Deputy Ambassador, Mr. Josip Glušac, who presented Croatian wines at the dinner, and Mrs. Tea Lončar, who sang the song "Believe in love" to the guests on that occasion.
