On portals in Serbia, you could recently read the news that the application of solar panels will be enabled wherever possible, and that a large number of small producers could make one virtual large generator of renewable energy sources. This should be made possible by the adoption of a new law on energy efficiency that is expected soon, which should create a "boom" in the application of solar panels and solar technology.
The topic is very interesting for us since China is the largest producer of solar panels and the leader in the use of renewable energy sources obtained from solar panels.
China is a highly industrialized country. Huge industry also requires a large amount of energy, so China is the biggest polluter of the natural environment.
According to studies from 2013, according to the level of air pollution, 7 of the 10 largest cities in the world are located in China.
The Chinese authorities have noticed this problem and have focused the country's development on obtaining clean and renewable energy through their five-year development plans. Therefore, it is not surprising that China is the leader in the production and use of electric cars as well as the use of electricity from renewable sources.
At the end of June 2019, more than 3.5 million electric vehicles were on the roads in China.

Today, seven of the ten largest companies that produce panels are located in China, that is, eight if you add the Canadian company Canadian Solar, which produces its panels in China.

These manufacturer ranking lists are based on the total volume of solar panels that companies ship. The fact that a company is in the highest place does not necessarily mean that they offer the highest quality panel, but it tells us a lot about the price/quality ratio.
According to data from the end of 2020, the 3 largest solar panel manufacturers in the world are JinkoSolar, JA Solar and Trina Solar (in that order).
The largest American companies in the solar industry are Sunrun and Tesla.
But what is the problem with these biggest companies. They are so big that they don't even treat "small" requests. We contacted most of them but did not receive any response.

On the video you can see what the largest facility for obtaining energy through solar panels looks like. This park is located in the Gobi desert and was launched in 2018. The park covers an area of about 609km2 which is roughly the size of Singapore.

Solar energy - energy of the future
The energy obtained from the sun is recognized as the energy of the future and therefore the embargo (that is, the high tax rate) on the import of panels to the US from China, which was introduced by the Trump administration at the beginning of 2018, is not surprising.
Some people claim that if the Sahara desert were paved with solar panels, there would be enough electricity for the entire planet.
How advanced China is in the production and application of new technologies is also indicated by the fact that they plan to put into operation the first installation for generating electricity from the sun in space by 2025.
Of course, these are fairy tales for us, but there are already products that could be interesting to us. We are familiar with small solar garden lamps that can be bought in domestic stores and which collect energy during the day and light up at night.
