We have shipped various types of forklifts from China so far, but this time we are highlighting a specific model designed for long loads and narrow aisles. If you are struggling with storing long pipes, timber or profiles in a tight yard or warehouse, this type of side loader forklift can be a simpler and more cost‑effective solution than rebuilding your space.
Below is an example of a delivery of two such side loader forklifts for a client in Croatia – with photos from loading in China to unloading at the customer’s site.
TAGJD.com (Jingdong) is a Chinese e-commerce company headquartered in Beijing and the largest retailer in China by revenue. It even surpasses Alibaba in retail sales and has now officially entered the European market through its own platform, Joybuy. For anyone involved in importing from China or selling online in Europe, JD is a name we can no longer ignore – neither as competition nor as a potential partner.
Who's going to mow your land this year? Finding someone willing to push a mower up a slope for hours is getting harder — and even when you do, the work is physically demanding and comes with real risk. A tractor covers a lot, but not everything: between orchard rows, along a canal, on the steeper parts of your land. That's why more and more large landowners, municipal companies and vineyard operators are switching to remote-controlled tracked mowers. We visited the factory in China where these machines are made and filmed how they actually work.
TAGThe conflict in the Middle East has reached a point where it's actively reshaping how goods move from China to Europe. The Red Sea and Suez Canal — the corridor that carries a large share of container traffic between Asia and Europe — are effectively closed.
Ships have been rerouted around the Cape of Good Hope, adding time and cost to every shipment. If you're importing goods from China for the European market, now is the time to plan differently.
TAGThe EU is gradually closing the loopholes that allowed small parcels from China to enter with almost no customs duties. This means that small, one‑off orders will become less profitable, while serious bulk importing will once again come to the forefront.
New rules have already been adopted to curb unfair competition from cheap e‑commerce shipments and to bring small parcels from China under the same regime as standard imports. In practice, this means a flat customs duty of €3 on small consignments, followed by the removal of the €150 threshold for charging customs duties.
For end consumers this is a price increase, but for bulk importers it is a clear signal that trading conditions will level out and that the time has come for more serious planning of B2B imports from China.
